I earned my degree in Secondary Science Education, with a concentration in chemistry, from Western Carolina University in 2023. I currently teach science at Tuscola High School and also serves as the assistant band director. I believe that learning happens best when students feel supported to try, fail, and try again, and he strives to build a classroom where curiosity is encouraged and every student feels capable of success in science. Outside of the classroom, I live in Clyde, NC with my wife and our three cats, Leo, Luxe, and Elle. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games and cheering on the Charlotte Hornets.
