I grew up in Leicester NC and attended Erwin High School. I received my Trade & Industrial Education degree from Appalachian State University. I have been teaching Drafting since 2005 and all of those years have been at Tuscola. I am excited to also be teaching some Woodworking classes starting in the Spring of 2027. I love teaching Career and Technical Education classes…I enjoyed those type classes when I was in school and that’s the reason I am a teacher. I love teaching “hands-on” classes and hope to encourage students to consider a trade after high school. My beautiful wife Donna and I have 3 kids; Morgan, Eston and McKinley.
