Haywood County native, attended Tuscola, chemistry major at Western Carolina. Research scientist and analytical chemistry background working at BASF, Chemtronics & Neo prior to teaching. While teaching I have spent parts of most summers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory assisting with teacher research programs. I am married with 2 children. I love to spend time with my family traveling and attending sporting events. I’m proud to be a Mountaineer.
