I have been teaching for twenty-six years both here in NC and abroad, mostly in K-4. I have a Master’s certificate in TESOL from the University of Kansas and my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Drake University. I served in the US Peace Corps in West Africa and most recently lived in Guatemala. I love whitewater kayaking, backpacking, and doing stained glass. I have one gigantic orange cat named Lucky.
