Tuscola AFJROTC NC-075 received official notification from HQ Air Force Junior ROTC that ‘WE’ have earned the Distinguished Unit Award (DUA ) for AY 2022-2023. Five-Years-in-a-Row!!! This five year-in-a-row milestone has only been achieved one other time in our program history!
The DUA Award recognizes the personal growth and accomplishments of our cadets, contributions of the instructors as mentors, and the support of parents, Tuscola HS, and our local community.
Certainly numerous (AFJROTC) units are doing great things in their respective communities, and the NC-075th Cadet Corps truly represents One-of-the-Best of our 850 (AFJROTC) units worldwide.
Major Clontz and I absolutely appreciate all the ‘Outstanding’ accomplishments of our Cadets. You All have earned the AFJROTC Distinguished Unit Ribbon…and another streamer to your Unit Flag. We also sincerely appreciate and thank our Parents, especially our Boosters for their tremendous support this and every year…i.e., together, in spite of all the challenges and obstacles, WE accumulated over 2000 hours of community service!!! Wow!
We also wish to Thank our amazing Tuscola Faculty and Staff for their support along with our community supporters. Thank you all so much!
You ALL are to be commended for earning The Distinguished Unit Award. It should also not go unnoticed that Our senior Class of 2023 has earned this rating all four years…Congratulations No doubt…You ALL…Class of 2023…have left your legacy in the NC-075th. Congratulations to All of our Cadet Corps family!
