Covin, William

I have been an instructor at Tuscola since 2019 teaching American History and Economics and Personal Finance (EPF). In addition, I currently teach Advanced Placement U.S. History (APUSH). Although native to Western N.C., I have lived and worked in New York City, Washington, D.C., West Africa, and in Ukraine where I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English. I have enjoyed being back home in Southern Appalachia and taking advantage of the outdoor activities our area has to offer every chance I get. I hold degrees from Columbia University and the University of Georgia. I am an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Waynesville.
