At Tuscola, we know that your senior year can be challenging to navigate as you begin to make decisions for your future after high school. We want to be as helpful as possible for you and your parents as you begin to prepare for your last year of high school and beyond.
Tuscola’s administration, counseling staff, and College and Career Specialists are hosting a Rising Senior Night for current Juniors and your parents on Monday January 31st, at 6:00 pm. in the Tuscola High School Cafeteria.
This important information night is for ALL rising seniors, no matter what your plans are after high school. Career opportunities and apprenticeships, trade and speciality schools, military opportunities, as well as 2 and 4 year schools will all be discussed, and how planning for each may differ.
Suggested timelines for your senior year will be laid out for you, and key dates for HCC College night, College Application Week, Financial Aid Night, and FAFSA Day will be shared.
We will also present an in depth discussion of the upcoming ACT test which is required of all Juniors and will be given free during the school day at Tuscola on March 2nd. We will share great resources for preparation for this exam, and offer a preparatory Boot Camp in February for all Juniors.
Please plan to join us on Monday, February 7th for this important event to help prepare you for your final year of high school and beyond.
