Tammy Bates, Carla Brookshire, and Joey Robinson visited Washington, D.C. from the 19th-21st.

They toured the monuments , spent a day in the Holocaust Museum (capped off by a discussion with a holocaust survivor),and toured the African American Museum to compare the similarities. This experience will help these teachers with their unit in literature set during the holocaust for English II. Mr Robinson reflected that “my background knowledge has been broadened by this life changing experience.”
